This notice covers the Jonny Falcon mailing list. Jonathan Prince, performing as Jonny Falcon, is responsible for your signup information. Contact jonny@jonnyfalcon.com with any questions.

What gets saved

Your email address, your first name if you choose to give it, when and where you signed up, the consent wording you agreed to and your subscription status. Your email address is needed to join; your name is optional. A temporary verification token and confirmation time are also recorded to verify your address; the Sheet stores only a protected hash of that verification token. A signed unsubscribe link and, if you leave, an unsubscribe time are saved to manage your subscription. The link does not contain your email address.

What it’s for

To send you emails from Jonny Falcon about new music, performances and occasional updates, and to maintain the subscriber list. After you sign up, you receive a confirmation email. You join the active list only after you confirm your address. This is based on your consent. Your details are not sold or used for other people’s marketing.

Where it’s kept

The signup page is hosted by Hostinger. Your details are sent securely to a private Google Sheet through Google Apps Script. The subscriber list is not publicly accessible. These services process information to provide hosting and storage; their infrastructure may process data outside the UK. See Hostinger’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for information about their services and international data safeguards.

The signup page does not add advertising or analytics cookies. Hosting services may retain technical logs, and the signup service uses short-lived, hashed network identifiers to limit spam.

Leaving the list

You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in a Jonny Falcon mailing list email. Open the link and press “Unsubscribe”; you do not need an account or sign-in. You can also reply to the email, or email jonny@jonnyfalcon.com with “Unsubscribe”.

Signup and subscription records are kept while the list is in use. Unconfirmed addresses remain pending and are not used for mailing list updates. After you unsubscribe, a minimal record of your address and unsubscribe status may be retained to prevent further marketing emails.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, or restrict its use, by contacting the address above. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
